Staff
The Office of University Relations keeps various constituencies
informed about the programs, faculty, staff and students
of Nicholls State University. This is done on campus
through publications, such as Inside Nicholls State
University faculty/staff newsletter, The Colonel Alumni
tabloid, Allons! donor newsletter, and the Nicholls
State University official website. Off campus exposure
is gained through extensive promotional efforts and
limited advertising in print publications and on radio
and television broadcasts.
Nicholls State University’s constituencies include
the news media, current and prospective employees
and students and their families, as well as alumni,
donors, foundations, opinion makers, public officials,
other universities, and Louisiana citizens, particularly
in the eight parishes of the NSU service region.
University
Relations, which is headed by a director who reports
to the vice president for Institutional Advancement,
provides the media relations, web site management,
and photographic services. We keep the news media
informed about university programs, events, projects
and the accomplishments of our faculty, staff and
students.
