Due to the nature of my day job (which often leaks over into the night) as well as other on and offline responsibilities, my availability varies a great deal. If you have a project you’d like to talk about and I’m unable to work with you because of time constraints, I have a small handful of firms and individuals that I can refer you to (you should see them mixed in the links).

Although I’m not currently looking for projects, they have a tendency to look for me. I charge flat-fees for projects (as opposed to hourly rates), and provide clients with all digital source material upon payment (Photoshop .Psds, Flash .flas, Indesign/Quark fonts and files, etc) and any other related tangibles.

Outside of actual hands-on development, I occasionally speak to middle, high school, college, and professional individuals and groups from various fields about digital media, design, and project creation.

Note: Because of my role with Louisiana state government, I am not willing or able to accept money or anything close to it for projects for other state agencies. All government work I accept is done for free (gratis), assuming my schedule permits me to start and complete the project you have in mind.

I also have a soft spot for active non-political-non-profit organizations that benefit other people (AIDS awareness, cancer fighting organizations, human assistance programs of all stripes, and tons of other similar things in the same vein).

My only problem is that our days are limited to 24 hours.
